The Elohim, The 12 Tribes and Why I Believe Humanity Has Forgotten Who We Really Are

One question I get asked frequently is what I actually believe about human origins, spirituality and consciousness. After my spiritual awakening, I spent years reading everything I could get my hands on. Joe Dispenza, Eckhart Tolle, Carl Jung, Dolores Cannon, the Law of One, Edgar Cayce, Gregg Braden, Alan Watts, David Hawkins and countless other authors became part of my journey. Somewhere along the way I discovered the Freedom Teachings by Ashayana Deane, and while I certainly don’t claim to know absolute truth, this cosmology became one of the frameworks that resonated most deeply with me.

Before anyone panics, no, I don’t expect everyone reading this to suddenly believe humans were seeded by interdimensional founder races hundreds of millions of years ago. 

I simply believe there is more to our story than we currently understand.

The Freedom Teachings begin with the concept of Source Consciousness, referred to as the Yunasai. This is the eternal field of intelligence from which all life emerges and eventually returns. Different traditions call this Source, God, Creator, Universal Consciousness, Infinite Intelligence or the Quantum Field. The names change but the underlying idea remains remarkably consistent. Everything is connected. Everything originates from the same field.

According to the Freedom Teachings, approximately 950 billion years ago a collective known as the Emerald Covenant was established. This covenant involved three primary Founder Race groups: the Elohei-Elohim of the Emerald Order, the Seraphei-Seraphim of the Gold Order and the Bra-Ha-Rama of the Amethyst Order. Their purpose was to seed life throughout what is described as a 15-dimensional Time Matrix and support the evolution of consciousness across countless worlds.

This is where things start getting interesting.

The Elohei-Elohim are described as feline-humanoid founder races associated with the Emerald Order. The Seraphei-Seraphim are described as avian, reptilian and insectoid founder races associated with the Gold Order. The Bra-Ha-Rama are linked with cetacean consciousness, whales, dolphins and Pegasus archetypes associated with the Amethyst Order.

Now before anyone rolls their eyes and exits the article, remember that virtually every ancient culture on Earth contains stories of sky gods, bird beings, serpent beings, dragons, angels, winged messengers and divine races descending from the heavens. Maybe ancient humans were incredibly imaginative. Maybe they were remembering something. I honestly don’t know. But I find the similarities fascinating.

What personally resonates with me is the role of the Elohim. Unlike many modern “ancient alien” theories that place enormous emphasis on the Annunaki as creators of humanity, I do not believe the Annunaki were the original creators of the human race. In the Freedom Teachings model, the Annunaki arrive much later in the story. I personally believe the original Angelic Human lineage was created by the Elohim and that humanity’s true origins are far more expansive than we currently understand.

According to this cosmology, around 560 million years ago the Angelic Human lineage was established on Tara, which is described as a higher-dimensional Earth counterpart. These original humans were said to carry a full 12-strand DNA template. Importantly, this does not refer solely to biological DNA as understood by modern genetics. Rather, it represents a multidimensional blueprint of consciousness and spiritual potential.

This is one of the reasons I became fascinated by the recurring appearance of the number twelve throughout human history. We see twelve zodiac signs, twelve disciples, twelve months, twelve cranial nerves, twelve tribes of Israel and countless other examples. Personally, I believe there may be a connection between the ancient stories of the Twelve Tribes and humanity’s original 12-strand template. I can’t prove it, but it is a possibility that I find incredibly compelling.

According to the Freedom Teachings, Earth then underwent multiple seedings of human life. The first seeding began approximately 250 million years ago and represented the beginning of the long evolutionary experiment of expressing the original human blueprint within physical reality. Later seedings introduced additional races and developmental stages. These included groups referred to as the Lumarians, Atlanians, Aryans and various Melchizedek lineages, each contributing aspects of the larger evolutionary DNA blueprint.

If you’re feeling slightly overwhelmed right now, don’t worry. When I first encountered this material I felt like someone had handed me the director’s cut of the universe with forty-seven extra seasons added in. 😂

One of the central ideas throughout the Freedom Teachings is that humanity gradually became disconnected from its original template. Over vast periods of time, interstellar conflicts emerged. Stargates became contested. Planetary grids were damaged. Genetic distortions accumulated. Hybridisation programs began. This is where many of the familiar stories involving the Annunaki, Drakonian races, Nibiru, Nephilim and various hybrid races enter the chronology.

Whether these stories are literal historical events, symbolic metaphors or a combination of both is something each individual must decide for themselves. For me, the details are less important than the overall message. Humanity appears to have forgotten who it is.

The Freedom Teachings describe major civilisations such as Lemuria and Atlantis as developmental phases of humanity’s journey. Lemuria is often portrayed as spiritually aligned and deeply connected to natural consciousness. Atlantis represents the rise of advanced technologies, experimentation and competing factions. When I look at our modern world, I can’t help but wonder whether we’re still trying to solve exactly the same problem: how do we balance technological advancement with spiritual wisdom?

We’ve built artificial intelligence but half of us still struggle to manage our emotions. Clearly the evolution is still in progress. 😂

One of the most important concepts within the Freedom Teachings is the idea that humanity is currently living through a significant evolutionary window. Themes such as DNA activation, planetary grid realignment, morphogenetic restoration, timeline shifts and conscious participation in planetary evolution are all considered part of the current cycle. Whether taken literally or symbolically, the message is essentially the same: humanity has an opportunity to awaken to a greater understanding of itself.

This is where the Freedom Teachings and the Law of One beautifully overlap for me. While the Freedom Teachings provide a highly detailed cosmology involving founder races, timelines and evolutionary cycles, the Law of One simplifies everything into a single profound truth:

All is One.

At the end of the day, I don’t see humans, starseeds, angels, extraterrestrials and founder races as fundamentally separate. A soul is a soul is a soul. Whether consciousness is expressing itself through a human body on Earth, a being on another world or a life form in another dimension entirely, it still originates from the same Source.

Different costume. Same actor.

Different avatar. Same player.

Different planet. Same Creator.

That perspective completely changed how I see the universe.

The more I studied consciousness, the less interested I became in labels and divisions. What mattered was the realisation that we are not separate from Source. We are expressions of Source. We are not disconnected. We are not abandoned. We are not broken. We are consciousness itself having a human experience.

Ironically, after spending years studying cosmic timelines, extraterrestrial races and multidimensional cosmologies, I arrived at a remarkably simple conclusion.

The purpose isn’t to escape Earth.

The purpose isn’t to become obsessed with aliens.

The purpose isn’t to prove who seeded whom 250 million years ago.

The purpose is remembrance.

Remembering who we are.

Remembering our connection to one another.

Remembering our connection to Source.

Remembering that we may be far more powerful, creative and conscious than we have been taught to believe.

Do I know with certainty that every date, timeline and race described within the Freedom Teachings is objectively true? No. Nobody does.

But do I personally believe humanity originated from the Elohim and carries a far greater spiritual potential than we currently express?

Absolutely.

And if it turns out that one day humanity discovers we’ve all been wandering around forgetting our cosmic family tree for thousands of years, then I suspect the collective response will be something along the lines of:

“Well… that explains a lot.” 😂🪷✨
