When many people hear the word hypnotist, they often think of stage hypnosis, swinging pendulums, or programs designed to help people quit smoking or overcome unwanted habits.
While hypnosis can certainly be used for those purposes, modern hypnosis techniques have evolved significantly and can be applied to a much broader range of personal goals and experiences.
At The Lotus Healer Perth, I offer Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique® (QHHT®), a unique hypnosis method developed by renowned hypnotherapist and researcher Dolores Cannon.
What Is QHHT?
QHHT is a gentle hypnosis technique that guides a client into the Theta brainwave state—a naturally occurring state of deep relaxation and heightened awareness.
Most people enter Theta every day just before falling asleep and just before waking up.
In this relaxed state, clients often report increased access to memories, insights, intuition, creativity, and a deeper understanding of themselves and their life experiences.
Unlike traditional hypnosis portrayed in movies, there are no swinging pendulums or loss of control.
You remain safe, aware, and guided throughout the process.
How Did Dolores Cannon Develop QHHT?
Dolores Cannon spent more than four decades refining her hypnosis method through thousands of client sessions.
Through years of observation, experimentation, and practical experience, she developed a unique guided induction process designed to help clients reach the Theta state efficiently and comfortably using visualisation techniques.
This gentle approach became known as Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique® (QHHT®) and is now practised by trained practitioners around the world.
What Can People Use QHHT For?
Every client’s experience is unique, but people commonly seek QHHT sessions for:
Personal growth and self-discovery
Spiritual exploration
Understanding recurring life patterns
Exploring possible past life experiences
Gaining insight into relationships
Connecting with inner wisdom
Finding clarity around life purpose
Emotional healing and personal transformation
Exploring the mind-body connection
Deep relaxation and stress reduction
Many clients also seek insight into physical, emotional, or life challenges they may be experiencing.
While QHHT is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or professional healthcare, some individuals find that exploring deeper levels of consciousness provides valuable perspectives on their personal journey.
What Happens During a QHHT Session?
A typical QHHT session consists of two main parts.
In-Depth Interview
The session begins with a detailed conversation exploring your life story, relationships, significant experiences, challenges, and questions you would like answered.
This helps identify themes and areas for exploration during hypnosis.
Guided Hypnosis Session
You are then gently guided into a deeply relaxed Theta state using Dolores Cannon’s visualisation-based induction process.
During this experience, many clients report accessing memories, insights, imagery, emotions, or perspectives that help them better understand their current life circumstances.
The session concludes with an opportunity to ask questions and explore the information that arises during the experience.
Is QHHT Safe?
QHHT is a gentle relaxation-based hypnosis technique.
You remain in control throughout the session and can communicate with your practitioner at any time.
Most clients describe the experience as deeply relaxing, insightful, and often transformative.
Perth QHHT Sessions
If you are curious about hypnosis, past life regression, consciousness exploration, or personal growth, a QHHT session may provide a unique opportunity to explore your inner world from a new perspective.
